Chestnut is a dense, tannin-rich tree native to Southern Europe and Turkey. The tannins help prevent damage from moisture.

Zelkova is native to Southern Europe, Southwest and Eastern Asia. In Japan, Keyaki, a Zelkova species is used to produce wadaiko, a traditional Japanese drum.

Hand wash and towel dry, do not soak. No dishwasher. Oil or wax as needed.
